Introduction
The HPCI Certificate Authority (HPCI CA) is administered by the National Institute of Informatics (NII). HPCI CA issues client certificates for authenticating of HPCI users as well as server and service certificates required to use the HPCI environment.
HPCI CA issues certificates to people who are authorized to use the HPCI environment by the HPCI Consortium.
The operational policy of HPCI CA is compliant to the certificate policy and certification practice statement (CP/CPS).
HPCI CA is compliant with the Member Integrated Credential Service (MICS) profile and accredited by the Interoperable Global Trust Federation (IGTF).
If there is anything else you would like to know about the HPCI CA, please contact the authority administrator.
Dear Users,
The authentication method based on X.509 and proxy certificates (GSI authentication),
for logging into the HPCI system, will be end on the date below.
GSI authentication will be end at:
March 25, 2025 09:00 a.m.
HPCI has been using GSI authentication. However, we are transitioning to Authentication and authorization system using Shibboleth and OAuth.
The new login method using Authentication and authorization system using Shibboleth and OAuth will be available from July 1, 2024.
If using GSI authentication, please switch to Authentication and authorization system using Shibboleth and OAuth.
You may refer to "
The guide on switching from GSI authentication to OAuth authentication" for details.
As GSI authentication is being terminated, the HPCI Certificate Issuing System will also be end.
All certificates issued by the HPCI Certificate Issuing System will be revoked after GSI authentication is terminated.
